Nan-Naw Cookies.

This is another very old one. It has been passed down from Lorraine's great-grandmother. She was "Nan-Naw", hence the name. It has been a while since I made them, but they are divine.

Nan-Naw Cookies

1 1/2 cups shortening (1/2 oleo, 1/2 Crisco)
1 cup each white and brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups plain flour, sifted
1 tsp baking powder, sifted
1 tsp soda
2 cups oats
1 cup corn flakes
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tsp vanilla

Mix in order given and drop by teaspoon. Bake at 325˚.
Makes 100+. Store in airtight container.
