Pesto Sauce.

Pesto Sauce

3/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup dried basil or 1 1/2 cups fresh basil
3 cloves garlic
1/3 cup slivered almonds or pine nuts
1/3 cup shredded fresh parmesan cheese

Put all ingredients in blender and blend well.

For red sauce for pizza:
Sometimes add 1 can of diced tomatoes drained.

Ron adds 2 T fresh squeezed lemon juice to the above pesto tomato mixture. Yum.
