I love cookbooks. I really love to eat. This is my personal "clippings" file, where I keep recipes that I run across that look interesting to me. Select firm ripened figs. Wash & place figs, sliced lemon, and sugar in large kettle. Cook until syrup thickens and turns amber. Pack in sterile jars & seal.
