Tennessee Jam Cake.

Tennessee Jam Cake

1 cup butter 
2 cups sugar 
1 cup buttermilk 
4 eggs beaten 
2 tsp. baking soda 
1 tsp. allspice 
1 tsp. cloves 
1 tsp. cinnamon 
2 cups blackberry jam—seedless 
1 cup canned pears –chopped 
1 cup chopped nuts 
1 cup raisins 

Cream butter and sugar. Add nuts, pears, eggs, and jam. Mix well. Add flour with buttermilk. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees in 2 (9-inch) cake pans. Ice with favorite frosting!
